Smartsens Technology has officially released the SC595XS, a 50-megapixel CMOS image sensor designed for flagship smartphone primary cameras. Based on a 1/1.28-inch large sensor size and 1.22μm pixel size, the product incorporates Smartsens' SmartClarity-XL Pro technology platform and 22nm stacked process, achieving breakthroughs in dynamic range, noise control, focus speed, and power efficiency.
The SC595XS utilizes Smartsens' proprietary SuperPixGain™ HDR technology, which employs single-exposure three-frame fusion to deliver an ultra-high dynamic range of 110dB—approximately 22dB higher than previous generations. This significantly improves performance in challenging lighting conditions such as backlighting and high-contrast scenes. The technology also effectively suppresses motion artifacts and supports 4K 60fps HDR video and 4K 120fps high-frame-rate recording, providing a solid foundation for professional video creation.
Equipped with SFCPixel-2 pixel technology and AllPix ADAF full-pixel focusing, the SC595XS maintains high sensitivity and low noise in low-light environments while achieving fast and accurate autofocus. Additionally, its power consumption is significantly optimized compared to previous generations, helping extend battery life and reduce heating during recording.
The launch of the SC595XS offers a comprehensive imaging solution for high-end smartphone primary cameras, featuring high dynamic range, high frame rates, and full-pixel autofocus, further advancing mobile imaging toward professional-grade experiences.
