December 9, 2025, Shanghai, China — Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation ('Toshiba') today announced the addition of five 40V 'TCKE6 Series' products—'TCKE601RA', 'TCKE601RL', 'TCKE602RM', 'TCKE603RA', and 'TCKE603RL'—to its electronic fuse/fuse (eFuse IC) product line. This series integrates overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection functions, aiming to provide more compact and efficient circuit protection solutions for industrial equipment and consumer applications.
The newly released TCKE6 series supports a wide input voltage range of 4.4V to 30V, making it suitable for common power supply systems such as 5V, 12V, and 24V. The products feature a typical on-resistance of 52mΩ, helping to reduce power consumption and improve system efficiency.
Compared to traditional physical fuses, the eFuse ICs in this series not only provide short-circuit protection but also integrate current limiting, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown functions, effectively safeguarding downstream circuits under abnormal conditions. By integrating multiple protection features into a single device, they help reduce the number of external components and simplify circuit design. The compact TSOP6F package (2.9mm × 2.8mm) facilitates more compact PCB layouts.
The series offers functional flexibility: some models support FLAG fault reporting or EN enable control and provide both auto-retry and latch-off operation modes, allowing users to select the most suitable model based on system requirements.
Toshiba stated that it will continue to expand its eFuse IC product line to meet the circuit protection needs of various devices.
