WPG Holdings' Shiping Group has introduced a High-Voltage Battery Management System Battery Junction Box (HVBMS BJB) solution based on NXP's MC33772C lithium-ion battery controller. The solution integrates core components including Toshiba's optical relay, onsemi's EEPROM, Vishay's shunt, and Molex connectors to provide high-precision monitoring and safety control for new energy vehicle battery systems.
The core component MC33772C complies with AEC-Q100 and ISO 26262 ASIL D safety standards, supports SPI communication up to 4Mbit/s and TPL2 isolated communication at 2Mbps, and integrates voltage/temperature detection, balancing transistors, and diagnostic functions. Its hot-swappable design simplifies system development. The HLQFP48 package offers 7 GPIOs with expandable ADC sampling capability, adapting flexibly to diverse application scenarios.
The solution supports 400V voltage detection per board and can be configured for 400V/800V systems through board combinations. It is compatible with battery high-voltage detection, TPL communication, 12V power supply, and external NTC connections, meeting the requirements of different vehicle platforms and high-voltage systems. This provides a reliable, modular BMS solution for electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
