WPG Holdings' Pinjia Group has introduced a 3.3KW bidirectional totem-pole PFC inverter solution utilizing Microchip's dsPIC33CK256MP506 main control MCU, targeting the rapidly growing household and portable energy storage markets. The solution employs digital control technology to achieve a 100kHz switching frequency, incorporates comprehensive circuit protection features, and supports efficient and stable grid-connected operation.
The core of the solution uses Microchip's high-performance digital signal controller, integrating 256KB Flash and dedicated digital power compensation algorithms to simplify peripheral circuit design. Combined with key components such as silicon carbide MOSFETs, gate drivers, and operational amplifiers, it enhances power density and conversion efficiency while effectively reducing system costs.
By optimizing the control architecture and hardware design, the solution significantly reduces development complexity and shortens time-to-market, providing a high-performance and cost-effective inverter solution for new energy storage applications.
